While the type of handyman services we complete may change from home to home, one thing you can always count on is the fact that our craftsmen use quality materials and have the proper insurance protections to protect you and your home.
Things We DON'T Do
We're not a jack of all trades, but we are masters of most. Here's what we don't do:

- New builds
- Landscaping
If your project is purely plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc. we'll probably point you toward one of our trusted vendors, but we're happy to come out and take a look first. Sometimes, projects that seem like just one thing require more than what you would think. For example, if you're wanting to move your toilet, you might think you only need a plumber. But you'll want to put down new flooring to make it look right when you're done.
How much do Handyman Services Cost?
Of course it depends on the project. Pricing is determined by materials and labor costs. Before we begin any handyman project, we provide you with a written estimate. This way you can know exactly what your project will cost and budget accordingly. We start by coming over and meeting face to face to make sure we understand the job and get a feel for the complete scope of the project.
Once you get an estimate from HOMEfix, the price will not change unless you change the scope of work. In the event that something unforeseen crops up during the project, we'll eat the cost. That's our promise.
The way we see it, we should fully understand your project and inspect things properly before getting started. We offer this because we want you to rest assured that your estimate is a firm budget, not an abstract idea.
What You Should Expect From a Handyman
Your handyman should always put your interests in front of their own. You should expect your handyman to be kind and professional. He should be happy to answer all your questions and return your phone calls promptly. He should ask your kids how its going and pet your dog.
When he says he's going to do something, he should do it. Your handyman should be experienced and that experience should allow him to do quality work quickly. He should take pride in the quality of his work. You should feel totally comfortable to leave the house while he's working. You should have no hesitation referring your handyman to your friends and family. Anything less than this is unacceptable.
We're Not The Cheapest
Because we care about quality, we probably won't be the cheapest handyman you find. We're not trying to be. Quite often, the cheapest handyman ends up doing cheap work with cheap materials that needs to be fixed right away. We believe that you're much better served to do things right the first time and be done with it.

We are committed to constantly working on ways to make your experience as delightful as it can possibly be. We aren’t perfect, but our efforts are reflected in our reviews. - Quality Workmanship – We believe that quality matters, especially in your home. Cheaper isn’t always better! When you hire us, you can know that the job is going to get done the right way. We don’t take shortcuts. We hold the highest standards of workmanship and we hire master craftsmen for our crew. If we make mistakes, we own them, take responsibility for them, and do what we can to make it right by you. Doing things this way means that we’re not the cheapest handyman in town. We’re okay with that. We’re not striving to be the cheapest. We’re striving to be the best.
- Quality Materials – A huge benefit to being a General Contractor is that we have access to high quality materials through our suppliers. Nothing against Home D****, but their materials aren’t even close to the quality that we use. For you as a homeowner, that means that your project is going to hold up to the test of time. A lot of DIY projects will fail, even if they were done correctly, simply because they were done with low quality materials. We stand behind our work with our 5 Year Warranty.
Are you sure you want to DIY?
As a rule (Murphy's Law to be exact), if something can go wrong with a home improvement project or repair, it will go wrong. Don't get caught in over your head. Hire a pro and relax knowing that you're getting quality work done with quality materials that you won't have to worry about.
Don't wait to get your repairs done. As you already know, Colorado has a harsh climate. This means that very often, repairs that start out as small, inexpensive problems become big, expensive problems. Snow, wind, water, mold, all these things have a way of doing damage when something's out of place in your home. Get it fixed sooner rather than later and prevent having to spend a lot more money down the road.
