THE HISTORY OF HOMEFIX

How it all started.

Some people grow up knowing what they want to do. That sentiment is true for our owner and founder, Griff Hanning. Since the age of six, Griff knew he wanted to start a construction company. He was inspired by his dad and grandpa who were both general contractors themselves. It’s fair to say that craftsmanship is literally in our blood. Griff grew up building forts and other fun stuff on his grandparent’s acreage, which grew into building furniture throughout college.

Griff founded HOMEfix right out of college as a local handyman business. Back then it was just him, a truck, and a trailer, but our values have never changed. From the beginning, Griff understood that you can’t compromise on honesty, dependability, or kindness. And in construction, those three things set you apart. While our commitment to integrity and quality has never wavered over the years, HOMEfix has grown into a collective of passionate people who believe in doing things the right way.
