File Your Claim.
If your HOMEfix representative finds enough damage to warrant a claim, they will provide you with all of the information you need to call your insurance provider to file the claim. We’ll walk you through the process – it’s easy.

Adjuster Appointment.
Once your claim is filed, your insurance provider will send an adjuster to verify the storm damage. Let your HOMEfix representative know if you would like them to be present at the inspection to advocate for you.

We Take Care of the Rest.
We will work with your insurance provider to make sure all of your damages are covered in the claim. It can be more than just your roof — we will inspect everything from the ground up.

My house was hit by hail. How do I know if I need to file an insurance claim?
We have experts that will do a free inspection of your roof. We will fill out a damage assessment form and take photos of what we find, then we will advise you on whether or not you should file a claim and what your options are.
My hail claim includes more work than just the roof. Can HOMEfix help me take care of everything?
Yes, we can. We pride ourselves on our ability to be your one stop shop for your hail claim. If anything comes up that we cannot take care of, then we have contacts for other professionals that will be able to take care of those odds and ends.
I’ve never filed an insurance claim before. What do I need to do for it?
Your sales representative will help you file the claim and can even be on the phone with you for the call. After the claim is filed, you can authorize your insurance company to talk to us and we will take it from there, from supplementing for things that were missed to notifying the insurance company when repairs are complete to have the final funds released to you.
What is insurance supplementing?
Insurance supplementing is when requests are made of the insurance company to correct missing or mispriced items on the insurance estimate. We have a dedicated professional that communicates directly with your insurance company to ensure that everything damaged by the storm is included on the claim and all necessary materials and labor are accounted for. Every supplement approved by insurance is also paid for by insurance. This helps to minimize your out of pocket costs and allows you to get the most out of your claim.
Will my insurance company pay for detaching my solar panels to replace my roof?
Yes, they will. Insurance companies understand that solar panels need to be detached in order to facilitate the repairs that they approved to be done so they will cover those costs.
