Fence repair is one of our specialties. Whether you need a brand new fence installed for added security or have a fence that just needs some mending, we can help. From installing a privacy fence around your backyard to replacing some missing planks, we’ll help you get things looking good around the house.
Of course it depends on the extent of the project. Fence repairs often include digging out the old fence post(s) and setting new fence posts. While we work hard to finish the job as quickly as possible, we are committed to doing things the right way so your new fence will withstand the Colorado weather for years. All that said, a typical fence repair is between $350 – $950.
A typical fence replacement will be around $45 – $55 per foot. There are some factors that can increase the cost of the project such as number of gates, upgraded materials, staining, sealing, etc.
Our most distinctive offer is our budget guarantee. We promise that your final cost will not exceed your estimated cost… unless you decide to change the scope of work.
The entire process from the first phone call to finish typically takes between 15 and 20 business days. We can usually come out to take a look at the project 3 business days after your estimate appointment is scheduled, then we’ll have your estimate to you in no more than 3 business days, and we should be able to start work 5 – 10 business days after the initial deposit is made depending on the availability of the materials needed for the project. The work itself will probably take 2-3 days depending on the length of your fence.
Public Service Announcement: Don’t ever pay anyone just to put together an estimate for you.
As you probably already know, you can predict Colorado weather to be unpredictable. We may get another “Bomb Cyclone” with 100mph winds within the next few years or some other weather anomalies that no one has ever heard of. That’s why we set new posts 24 inches deep. The snow, hail, sun, and temperature changes continually weather your fence. Keeping that in mind, you can expect a brand-new sealed cedar fence to last about 20 years. It will last longer if well maintained.
If we’re replacing your fence, or if it can’t be salvaged for repair, we handle all tear-out and disposal for you. The cost of demolition and disposal of your current fence will be included in your estimate along with everything else. We hate hidden costs as much as you do.
We will do everything we can to protect your landscaping like it was our own. If you have plants, bushes, shrubs, or small trees close to the fence, you might consider trimming or transplanting them before we start work. We can tackle some minor landscaping if needed.
Pike’s Peak Regional Building Department does NOT require a permit for fences under 6 feet in height. If you have a Home Owner’s Association (HOA) they may require a variance of some kind. Most HOAs have some kind of guidance around fencing so your neighbor doesn’t paint their fence Bronco orange. If you ever do need a permit for any project, we will pull the permit for you.
We sure are. We can handle anything from roof replacement to remodeling to decks to basement finishes and more.
