Carpentry Colorado Springs - Carpentry Services - Carpenter Contractor

Custom Carpentry

Customizing your home with quality carpentry brings upgrades to both form and function. Built-in furniture such as bookshelves, tables, incorporating shiplap, putting in a wine rack, installing a dividing wall, reconfiguring your kitchen layout, or similar projects make your home YOUR home. Just let us know what you’d like, and we’ll get to work.

How much does custom carpentry cost?

The cost for this type of project varies greatly depending on the specific circumstances. We’re always happy to provide a customized estimate for your project.

How much do you charge for an estimate?

Nothing. We don’t charge for estimates.

How long will it take?

From initial phone call to completed work, most carpentry projects typically take between 3 to 6 weeks. We can usually come take a look at the project 3 business days after you schedule your appointment. We’ll get your estimate to you in no more than 3 business days, and we should be able to start work 5 – 10 business days after the initial deposit. The work itself will probably take 2-5 business days just depending on the project.

Why should I call HOMEfix?

We promise to never exceed your estimated cost unless you change the scope of work.

Can you help me with the plans/drawings?

We can help you draw up exactly what you want for the space. If you have photos of what you like, those are helpful but not necessary.

Will I need a permit?

You most likely won’t need a permit unless your project requires us to move walls or plumbing. If you do need a permit, we will pull it for you.

Is my whole house going to get dusty?

Absolutely not. We do everything possible to keep dust contained. That includes a lot of plastic masking, taping terry cloths over HVAC registers, installing zipper doors when necessary, etc. We also take all the trash out at the end of each day. We treat your home as if it’s our own.

Do you have your own employees or do you just hire subcontractors?

We have our own master craftsmen but we do sub out trades that we aren’t licensed for such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing when the project requires it.

Is HOMEfix a General Contractor?

Yes. There are 3 divisions of our business: handyman, remodeling, and roofing. We can handle pretty much anything from roof replacement down to a basement finish. We don’t do foundations, mold, or radon.

Is HOMEfix licensed and insured?

Absolutely. Our PPRBD contractor number is 18264.

Do you offer a warranty?

We do. 5-year warranty on materials and labor. More info
